The Deck Plans
The MSC Poesia Cruise Ship was built in 2008 and refurbished in 2018. The MSC Poesia ship has a deck plan that shows a total of 1275 staterooms. The staterooms can accommodate up to 2550 passengers or 3060 guests at maximum capacity. The cruise ship is served by approximately 1040 staff and crew members. The MSC Poesia Cruise Ship has restaurants, lounges, bars, swimming pools, jacuzzies, and elevators.
The MSC Poesia Cruise Ship has sixteen passenger decks. Thirteen of the decks are named after some famous Italian poets. They include the Boccaccio Deck, Petrarca Deck, Dante Deck, Manzoni Deck, Tasso Deck, Ungaretti Deck, Carducci Deck, D’ Annunzio Deck, Leopardi Deck, Foscolo Deck, Pascoli Deck, Alfieri Deck and the Sport Deck. They are Decks 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 respectively.
There are twelve different categories of cabins. For category one, there are five cabins on the Petrarca Deck and eight on the Tasso Deck that is inside and have two (2) lower beds. For category two, there are no cabins on the Ungaretti Deck and ten on the Carducci Deck that are inside and have two (2) lower beds.

For category three, there are eleven on the D’ Annunzio Deck, twelve on the Leopardi Deck, fourteen on the Pascoli Deck, and fifteen on the Alfieri Deck that is inside and has two (2) lower beds. There are five on the Petrarca Decks that are outside and have two (2) lower decks for category four.
For category five, there are eight on the Tasso Deck that are outside and have two (2) lower beds. For category six, there are eight on the Tasso Deck and none on the Ungaretti Deck that is outside, come with a balcony and have two lower beds. For category seven, there are ten on the Carducci Deck and eleven on the D’ Annunzio Deck that is outside, come with a balcony, and have two lower beds.
For category eight, there are twelve on the Leopardi Deck, fourteen on the Pascoli Deck, and fifteen on the Alfieri Deck that is outside, come with a balcony and have two lower beds. For category nine, there are eight on the Tasso Deck and nine on the Ungaretti Deck that are outside, come with a balcony and have two lower beds.
For category ten, there are nine on the Ungaretti Deck and ten on the Carducci Deck that are outside, come with a balcony and have two lower beds. For category eleven, there are eleven on the D’ Annunzio Deck and twelve on the Leopardi Deck that is outside, come with a balcony and have two lower beds. For the twelfth category, there are fifteen on the Alfieri Deck that constitutes a suite with a balcony and one double bed.
The different cabin types include sofa beds, double sofa beds, bunk beds, cabins for people with disabilities, and connecting cabins. It is important to note that some of this information may change by the time booking commences. So, be sure to confirm regularly.
